I partner with mission-driven clients looking to improve how they share their valuable work with the world.

Whether you need an impactful article, presentation, website, or press release, or have kept putting off reworking your website and social media, I can help you craft the right solution to make your work shine.

As soon as you share your organization’s needs, I prioritize developing a solution tailored just for you. No need to wait weeks for unnecessary, lengthy strategies that are too big or unsustainable for your small team.

I hold dual degrees in history and English from UCLA and a master’s in English from Claremont Graduate University and have more than 15 years experience in communications solutions. My clients span the fields of education, community foundations, affordable housing, philanthropy, climate research, mental health, and animal health.

I am fluent in Romanian and conversational in Spanish, and am currently learning ASL.

I reside between the beach and redwoods, and share my home with my husband, daughter, and very bad cat.

Why mission-driven organizations?

My background is in education & non-profits

I have spent the last 20 years working alongside small teams who make big things happen, each person wearing as many hats as it takes to get things done. I have been a communications associate who ends up managing a million-dollar grant, and an associate director of programming who helps students apply for a passport, a news writer who ends up managing the attendees list for an event, and a website coordinator who interviews high-level policy makers.

I know how thinly stretched non-profits can be, which can make the work that much more exciting and rewarding as well as overwhelming.

I am an optimist

I like partnering with clients who spend their time working for something that makes a difference in the world. Being around people who keep an optimistic view, believing that things can always be better, is good for the soul!

I like having immediate impact

The world’s biggest challenges won’t be solved overnight, but small things can add up to positive change. When you’re working on the big stuff, it helps to get the smaller things completed. Each small goal achieved is a step forward.
